Super Truck was established in 1994 under the name "SpecTruck" for oval track racing. In 1998 a race series was developed called Pro Truck and the company developed a spec truck for road racing. In 2007, under new ownership, the company name was changed to Super Truck. In 2010, Super Truck was excited to announce a newly designed road racing truck to the public. The new truck has improved, modified steering and suspension components, increased horsepower from 355 to 525 hp, and a larger cockpit area for greater comfort and safety. The chassis was developed with features in line with NASCAR regulations, garnering the truck safer and more powerful. Also in 2010, Super Truck signed on a distributor in Australia and is looking to create a national truck series within the United States.
